Christmas Lights display opens

Glen Burnie area families will be looking forward to holiday light displays that will be opening at the end of November.

That’s when Willow Oak Flower and Herb Farm will be having opening day for their annual North Pole Lights Walk that leads to a visit with Santa.

Everyone is encouraged to bring cameras to catch the holiday spirit as their children experience the magic of the season.

Many families often take those pictures captured during events like this that happen early in the season to local Stationery printers to be made into the current year’s Christmas cards.

The ½ mile walk will be self-guided with arctic animals and garden flower scenes along the way. Santa Claus will be waiting in his North Pole Palace (the Garden Cabin).

Since the outdoor woodland path is stone and brick, guests are advised to wear warm proper attire and comfortable shoes. Admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 13 years old. Tots one year old and younger will not need tickets.

Opening day of The North Pole Lights Walk will take place November 24 from 4:30 to 8:00 pm at Will Oak Flower and Herb Farm, 8109 Telegraph Road, Severn. Other dates are November 25th, and Friday and Saturday December 1, and 2; Thursday, Friday and Saturday December 7, 8, 9 and 14, 15, 16; the entire week before Christmas and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday December 28, 29, and 30.
