Glen Burnie foodies who are fond of crab cakes will not want to miss the first annual Maryland’s Top Crab Cake Challenge coming up in just a couple of weeks.
Over a thousand guests will be voting for their succulent seafood favorites that will be offered by 10 to 15 local restaurants and catering companies.
For the event, $20 tickets will include 20 tokens that can be traded for cakes and beverage samples. Two Forms will be included with the tickets in order to vote; one for the food and one for the beverage. Winners will be announced in both categories.
Both members and nonmembers of Mid Atlantic Networking can display and/or market their businesses, goods, and services at booths that will be located between the food and beverage stations. Over 100 businesses are expected to participate.
Banner printing is advisable and only three exhibits of each business category will be allowed. Both exhibitor and sponsor information must be sent to the event organizers as soon as possible in time for the event catalog printing. Attendees may wish to swap digital Business Cards.
The event will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, September 15 at La Fontaine Bleue Banquet Hall’s newly remodeled ballroom, 7514 Richie Hwy, Glen Burnie. The last vote will be cast at 7:30 pm, and winners will be announced starting at 7:45 pm.
