What's Happening in Quincy, MA…

New restaurant comes to Quincy

Masons Steakhouse is now open in Quincy.

The restaurant, which opened in late December, is in what was once a Masonic temple on Hancock Street, although the Masonic building has been closed since 2013.

The owner of Masons Steakhouse is Jimmy Liang who prides his new restaurant as being a destination for exceptional hospitality, cutting-edge style, and new American cuisine. It combines the charm of a neighborhood New England restaurant with the elegance of urban fine dining.

The menu features six steaks that range from a New York strip of 12 ounces to a bone-in strip of 16 ounces. Other steaks include filet mignon, ribeye, and the A5 Japanese wagyu steak. Other entrees include pan roasted duck, veal sirloin schnitzel, chicken, and salmon. Masons also has several pasta dishes that include ragout with bay scallops, Taglioni noodles with giant prawn, and ricotta cavatelli. The side dishes include fried green beans, potato puree, macaroni and cheese, and Thumbelina carrots.

Rob Gonzalez is the pastry chef who has created a range of confections that include his specialty, niveaux de chocolat, as well as other choices in a palette of flavors. The city of Quincy gets a nod with the Quincy Classic as part of the cocktail menu, which also includes draft beers by local brewers and an extensive wine list.

Such new and unique eateries can benefit from flyer printing to promote themselves and their special offerings.

Masons is open seven days a week.
