A submission for the design of the store is on file with the city of Quincy. There is a development project ion the downtown area on McConville Way for which Trader Joe’s will be the anchor store. The development project is a mixed-use one and will have a medical facility spanning 100,000 square feet and 300 new housing units. Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center will operate the medical facility.
Trader Koe’s features its own selection of affordable private-label products, frozen meals, wines, unique snacks, and staples for everyday life. Flyer printing can be used on a weekly basis by such stores to promote special products and other items.

There are currently over 630 Trade Joe’s stores in over 40 states and Washington, D.C., with 21 locations already in Massachusetts and other new stores will be opening in Newton and West Roxbury. Trader Joe’s is planning to open 21 more stores in 13 states by the end of the year.
The development and the new Trader Joe’s are expected to be completed next year.
