The free, family-friendly concert will feature three highly regarded tribute bands performing the hits of rock legends:
- Shadows of the Night, a powerful tribute to Pat Benatar, will open the show from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., delivering fan favorites such as “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Love Is a Battlefield,” and “We Belong.”
- Whammer Jammer, a high-energy J. Geils Band Experience, will take the stage from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., performing classics like “Centerfold,” “Freeze-Frame,” and “Love Stinks.”
- Music City Stones, one of the premier Rolling Stones tribute bands in the country, will close out the evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with timeless hits including “Satisfaction,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Paint It Black,” and more.
Food trucks will be on site with a variety of options, including Bird’s Nest Italian Street Food, Wahlburgers, and Trolley Dogs. Craig’s Café will be serving adult beverages.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, dancing shoes, and hacky sacks for a fun afternoon on the lawn next to City Hall at Hancock-Adams Common.
Poster printing can be used throughout a city to promote such special concerts and family-friendly events.
