An apartment building will be built at Neponset Landing on Hancock Street in Quincy, which is now the location of Bert's Electrical Supply and a Domino’s Pizza.
The building will be constructed by Tremont Asset Management and will be eight stories in height and have 139 units. Tremont Asset Management was granted a permit for the building and associated variances as it will be a project of a residential nature in a business district.
The property consists of two existing parcels and covers 0.825 acres. Hancock Street, Newbury Street, and Newport Avenue Extension form its boundaries on three sides with the rear being offices occupied by the Department of Transportation and the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
The building will have two stories of 134 parking spaces on the first and second floors. Above that will be six stories of apartments with one and two bedrooms as well as studio apartments. The lobby will be two stories high with the rear opening onto its amenity deck.

Sam Slater, Managing Partner of Tremont, said he expects construction to begin in the second half of 2025 with construction to take about 18 months. This means the project would be completed about a year and half later.
