Three fundraisers are being held at the end of November and beginning of December in Quincy.
The Braintree Dickens Festival Holiday Craft fair on November 18th from 10:00am to 3:00pm at All Souls Church will be decked out as a Christmas Victorian marketplace, and 27 artisans will be wearing Victorian costumes. Father Christmas will be available for photos, while costumed characters from Dickens Christmas Carol and carolers will be meandering through the crowd.
Stationery printers often use pictures of Victorian characters in creating their old fashion note card sets.
Four dollars will be donated to the Braintree Food Pantry for every pie sold at the bake sale.
The Jamaican Association of Massachusetts will be holding its inaugural Masquerade Ball to raise funds to address the Black community’s mental health stigma. At 7:00pm, cocktails will be served, with dinner set for 8:00pm, after which dancing will continue to midnight.
Tickets for the ball will cost $150.
The ball will take place on Friday, November 10th from 7:00pm to 12:00am at the Marriott Boston Quincy Hotel, 1000 Marriott Drive.
Coastal Christmas Holiday Musical Revue and Fair will benefit the New England Aquarium Sea Turtle Hospital and the Quincy Point Interfaith Social Services, Quincy.
