The fall and winter schedule of programs has recently been released by Newburyport Youth Services.
The group hired a brochure printing company to create the brochure of all the programs to be offered. This will be mailed to families who have children in the public schools of residents of Newburyport and the surrounding towns.
Forms for registration are available at the Newburyport Recreation. An additional $10 per program will be charged for nonresidents, and a $15 late fee for registration completed within one week of the start date of a program.
Archery, tennis, woodworking, and junior cooking (hosted by Jim Rogers of Andiamo Restaurant) are some of the new programs that will be offered.
Special Friday Night events include a Halloween Party on October 23, a Luau on December 11 and Open Gym Nights in January and March. Family events will include the Halloween Costume Swap on Thursday, October 15, and Touch-a-Truck on Saturday, October 24.
Sports and games, cooking activities, tournaments, and arts and crafts will be some of the programs offered on early release days for grades four and five. There are also preschool programs, with a gym for ages two through five on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and a toddler time gym hour on Friday mornings, both of which will be held from November to March.Get a Free Quote for Forms
