Newburyport to hold new holiday festivities
The inaugural Port of Wonder is currently underway in Newburyport.
This is a collaboration of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Downtown Business Advisory Council. This festive event brings together residents, organizations in the community, and local businesses to create a winter wonderland and festive experience that also celebrates the traditions and innovations of the city.
The Port of Wonder features Christmas trees on Market Square; sing-alongs and holiday musicales at the Firehouse Center for the Arts; Market Square, Santa workshops at Brow Square, Market Square, and the Firehouse Center for the Arts; and family fun and carolers an Little Wonders on Inn Street on Sundays. There are also Yuletide Friday Night Strolls; Deck the Docks vendor marketplace Saturdays; as well as lighting of the Menorah, eating of latkes and a green ticket shopping spree with a chance to win a gift basket worth $5,000 on Christmas Eve.
Such unique events can be promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with flyer printing.

She added that this event demonstrates how well businesses collaborate in the community and reflects the spirit of creativity, togetherness, and joy of the city.
