The annual Waste, Public Health, and Animal Control Guide for 2026-2027 of the city of Newburyport will soon be delivered to residents.
This is a comprehensive guide that has information which is needed by residents to help them navigate services for recycling and waste, animal control services and regulations, and public health programs. It provides needed information about curbside trash and recycling as well as how to dispose of items that are large and bulky, such as furniture and carpets. There are also guidelines on how to recycle textiles and costs for recycling mattresses.
The city has expressed its thanks to the many employees who spent many weeks creating and developing the guide and ensuring it is a valuable resource for the community. The design and layout of the guide was done by Jessica Pierce, who the city specially recognizes for her work in this project.
The guide is reportedly currently being printed and will soon be delivered to the post office to mail to residents of the city. Residents should see this guide in their mailbox by the end of the month.
Local Print shops can play a vital role in such new guides, printing thousands of high-quality, full-color Copies and helping distribute them to households throughout the community. The collaborative effort with city officials underscores the ongoing value of local Print shops in keeping residents informed and connected.
