The upcoming spring and summer Newburyport Farmers’ Market will once again be sponsored by Newburyport Bank with a donation of $3,500.
Food vendors and farmers are looking forward to returning to the market and reconnecting with the community after the market was cancelled last year. WIC and SMAP/HIP coupons will be accepted at the market so that fresh, local food can be offered to families in town. Vendors at such markets often look to local printing services to provide more details about their produce and other offerings.
CEO and president of Newburyport Bank, Lloyd Hamm, said that the Newburyport farmers summer market will provide the ideal return to the community as well as a wealth of food grown by local farmers in the area. He added that it will be particularly appealing given the circumstances of the past year.
Newburyport Bank was founded in 1854 and since its founding has been grounded in the community and considers itself a responsible community partner. Through their Spirit of Giving, employees of the bank have volunteered their time, talent, energy, and money to non-profit organizations and people in need. Their website says that as a community bank, team members of the bank both live and work in the community and dedicate themselves to giving back to the community to help improve their quality of life.
