The Joppa Flats Education Center in Newburyport is holding several events this month and in the upcoming months.
Printing services are often used to make those in the community aware of such programs. Imagine, Sing and Learn: Squirrel and Bird Nests is a morning program for preschoolers and their parents. Its structured activities include an outdoor adventure, weather permitting, and hands-on music and science, movement, and a snack appropriate to the program. This program will take place at the Joppa Flats Education Center next Friday, November 22 from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
Saturday Morning Birding will be led by experienced birders who will bring attendees to hot spots for birding in the Plum Island and Newburyport area. Those who are new to birding as well as the more experienced birders are welcome. This program will meet at the Joppa Flats Education Center next Saturday, November 23 and run from 9:00 to 11:30 am.
One of the Center’s most popular programs is Wednesday Morning Birding on Cape Ann. This is an opportunity to explore a part of the country that has large number of birds to view. The Center reports that there have been over 320 species of birds noted on these filed trips. Upcoming dates for this program are December 11, January 15, February 12, and March 11. It runs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Gloucester Crossing shopping center.
