This November, Small Business Saturday will take place in Lowell for anyone interested in supporting small local businesses and finding one-of-a-kind items.
Western Avenue Studios & Lofts is one of New England’s largest artist communities, with the historic industrial building boasting five levels of open artist studios, work/live-in lofts, and vendors. Since 2012, Western Avenue has been fully devoted to artisan businesses and art studios. The space also opens its doors to the public for a multitude of events throughout the year, such as the Small Business Saturday event happening in November.
The event will encourage the community to come out and “shop with heart,” with more than 350 artists participating and showcasing their works. With two floors of live-work lofts and five floors of studios to explore, attendees will have the opportunity to peruse handmade treasures in the form of jewelry, fine art, ceramics, textiles, and more. Leashed pets are also welcome to attend with their owners.
Markets featuring artists and makers may often benefit from utilizing Posters to get the words out about the event. Local Print shops specializing in poster printing can partner with event organizers to print these materials in bulk.
