Lowell trading card convention to help support scholarship

A new event is coming to Lowell in the form of the Canal City Sports Card and TCG Show.

Experienced or brand new to the hobby, anyone interested in card trading or collecting is invited to this debut convention.

Vendors of many kinds of cards and collectables will be on site selling their wares and potentially making trades. Sports and Pokémon are some of the more common card types that will be represented, but there will other categories of cards and collectibles as well.

At any event with people potentially new to the hobby, vendors are likely to make use of business card printing services. This ensures their information is easily available to all attendees so they can be found again.

In addition to vendors, the event will also have door prizes to win and food available from Big Al’s Grill. Participants are also encouraged to make new friends among each other and find new trading opportunities.

Taking place at the Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (CCSL), a portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards creating an athletic scholarship for future students. The show will be on Saturday August 29, from 9 am to 5 pm. There is no charge for admission, but tickets can still be reserved online if attendees would prefer. CCSL is located at 1857 Middlesex St, and the event is open to all ages.
