George and Connie Panella, along with their daughter Veronica, have just opened the Dicor Restaurant in North Andover. It serves both Italian and Argentinian food in a traditional atmosphere of family dining.
According to Veronica Panella, Argentinian food is characterized by a lot of meat, including short ribs, steak, and beef. Their chimichurri sauce, which is like a vinaigrette, is their special dressing that goes on top of the meat.
One of the favorites among customers are empanadas as well as parillada, which is a dish comprising several types of meats, such as black sausage, short ribs, flank steak, and frankfurters, served with a salad and French fries. The owners add that Argentinian dishes have become popular among guests as they are different from other foods and there are no Argentinian restaurants in the area.
For dessert, Dicor serves homemade tiramisu, flan, and sorbet.
The mix of Italian and Argentinian foods was chosen as Connie and George are from Argentina while Connie’s family history is Italian.
Veronica Panella commented that people in the community have been very supportive. When the restaurant participated in National Night Out earlier in August, the people of Andover and North Andover were particularly welcoming.
The Panellas have most likely turned to a flyer printing company to create Flyers and other materials promoting the opening of their unique restaurant.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
