Regular operating hours, concierge service, reserved tables, and thoughtful programming for players at a range of experience levels will be offered. There will also be available a curated selection of Mahjong gifts, goods, and accessories. Local American Mahjong instructors will partner with the establishment to offer leagues, guided play, introductory sessions, and special programming.
The origins of Mahjong in China and the generations of players who helped influence and create American Mahjong as it is played today is recognized by The Hidden Parlor.
Founding General Manager of The Hidden Parlor Society, Heather Forrest Gagnon, said:
“American Mahjong has a way of bringing people together.”
She added that The Hidden Parlor is being designed as a place to connect, gather, and enjoy the game in a comfortable environment.
Four levels of membership are offered by The Hidden Parlor. East membership is for the most distinguished members; North membership is full membership with elevated access; West Membership with full membership; and South membership for weekday players designed for daytime play. More details about such memberships and offerings of this new establishment can be outlined with brochure printing.
The Hidden Parlor is expected to open next month.
