Andover launches program for social support services

A new partnership with Care Solace has been launched by the town of Andover.

Care Solace is a coordination service for care that connects residents to substance use treatment, mental health care providers, and other important social support services. There is no cost for this service, which is available for all residents of Andover and looks to facilitate finding help for families and individuals when they are in need.

Care Solace will enable residents to be connected with Care Companions who are trained professionals who help to identify service providers in the local area to meet the needs of an individual, schedule appointments, and assist with follow-up. This service is available in 200 languages, such that support and accessibility is available for all members of the community.

More details about such new services can be provided by brochure printing.

There is a network of over 660,000 licensed substance abuse and mental health providers in the Care Solace platform. It also helps individuals with housing, affordable dental and medical care, and resources for food security.

Andrew Flanagan, town manager, said that this new service is an important step in removing barriers to support and mental health services. Flanagan added that by offering residents a single point of contact which is easy to use, it will enable people to get the help they need and when they need it.
