New president at helm for Spalding University

Louisville’s Spalding University has announced that it has selected Anne Kenworthy to replace the Tori Murden McClure as its new president.

Spalding’s new head honcho was most recently employed by the University of Findlay, which is located in Ohio. Her position there was vice president of marketing, management, and strategic initiatives. The vote to hire Kenworthy, who will be the university’s 11th president, was a unanimous one by the Spalding Board of Trustee.

In a news release, Kenworthy said:

"I am excited and humbled to be starting the new year as a member of the Spalding University community. I have been impressed with Spalding's reputation for meeting the needs of the times, and I am committed to expanding Spalding’s reach and impact in the region."

Spalding was established in 1814 and is a private, Division III university that has since the 1920s been located in downtown Louisville. The school’s unusual annual seven six-week sessions enable students to work at their own pace in earning their bachelor’s degree.

Universities have numerous uses for the services that Print shops can supply including that of banner printing services.

Kenworthy’s qualifications include having earned from the University of Memphis a BS in mathematics and a doctoral in high education; plus, an MBA awarded by Christian Brothers University and from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy a fundraising management certificate.

Kenworthy will assume her new position on January 1.
