Overland Park plans fall festivities
As summer transitions to fall, Overland Park is prepping for an event that will bring out everyone's inner kid.
Prairiefire recently announced that its Oktoberfest celebration is less than two months away. A day filled with fun for all ages, it will be free to attend and the festivities will go ahead rain or shine.
Visitors who attend the celebration will be able to kick back and relax with a cold stein of suds in the Bier Garten, which will be set up outdoors. Everyone can try their hand at decorating a pumpkin to take home with them for their autumn display, while the kids can make some new furry friends in the petting zoo. Face painters, balloon twisters and street games are also all on the agenda to keep the younger guests happy and occupied.
Organized events can bring communities together, strengthen bonds, and create a place to call home that residents can be proud of. Banner printing services for almost any type of special occasion will be available at an area print shop, which can also provide a full line of other customized marketing materials.
This warm welcome to fall’s arrival will be bringing the fun to Overland Park on Saturday, October 7. The festivities will take place at 5661 West 135th street, getting underway at 10:00 am.
