Kansas organization offers networking opportunities
The organization Network After Work, which bears the same name as its events, is now putting together regular meet-ups in the Kansas City Area.
The goal of these networking sessions is to bring together professionals and businesspeople from diverse areas and backgrounds, with the hopes of making lasting connections. It is a way to turn the typical after-work round of drinks into a productive evening.
The June edition of Network After Work will take place at The Ainsworth in Leawood. The location, an upscale sports bar, is accessible to attendees from surrounding areas such as Kansas City and Overland Park. The price of admission will include a color-coded name badge, appetizers and drinks. Attendees will likely want to stop by local print services to make sure their business cards are up-to-date and plentiful. The organization has promised a casual atmosphere, but one in which important business connections can still be made.
