Annual gala funds local theater
The Stars Gala is taking place at the end of the month in Overland Park. Presented by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District, the event is a fundraiser for Theatre in the Park.
Theatre in the Park is an important part of the Kansas City Metro areas arts community; in addition to providing entertainment for the public, it also provides scholarships, some of which pay for youth programs that provide for developing artists.
This year's gala has the theme "A Night on Broadway." It will feature dinner, dancing and live entertainment, although those not interested in dinner can just attend the dance party portion. There will also be a silent auction. Since it is taking place on New Year's Eve, there will be a champagne toast at midnight.
Sponsorships are available for purchase from $350 up to $5,000. Sponsors will be mentioned in all promotional materials and the event program.
Overland Park printing services companies are frequently asked to provide event programs for events like this, as well as all advertising material and invitations.
