There are festivities for all ages planned in Crown Point to welcome in 2025.
Celebrations start with the Kids' New Year’s Eve party presented by the City of Crown Point and On the Square Sports Academy. A magician and DJ will be on hand to provide mid-day entertainment. Youngsters ages 12 and under can take part in face painting and enjoy pizza, snacks and beverages as part of the celebration. Tickets are required, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Later that evening, Crown Point will ring in the new year with its inaugural downtown ball drop. It's planned as a family-friendly event featuring a DJ, an official countdown to 2025, and a fireworks display. The party will be held rain or shine, and outdoor heaters will be provided.
Vendors will be in attendance offering food and refreshments. Vendors who participate in events such as this frequently use flyer printing to advertise their food and other products.
The afternoon children’s event will be held December 31, from 11 am to 2 pm at 105 N Court Street in Crown Point. Tickets are available on the city website, priced at $10 each. Infants 2 and under can attend for free. There is no charge for the evening ball drop party, which will be held from 10 pm to 1 am at Clark and Main Streets.
