Next month’s inaugural Christmas at Bulldog Park in Crown Point will include something for all ages. The celebration will bring the community together to enjoy a festive atmosphere featuring a range of outdoor winter holiday activities.
Children can have their faces painted or enjoy visiting Santa and the live reindeer. Families can bundle up for ice skating and rides in a horse-drawn carriage. In addition, visitors to the park will find a variety of food trucks and local vendors on site, and have the opportunity to participate in festive live auctions and giveaways.
The event is presented by the Crown Point Chamber of Commerce and its sponsors, as well as Crown Point Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a community group first created during the Covid pandemic to assist those in need in connecting with available resources. It has since become a non-profit organization that holds food drives and other fundraising events.
For the upcoming celebration, the park will be specially decorated including 22 custom-designed trees presented by Chamber members who can showcase their brands amid the tree decorations. Businesses that sponsor community events such as this often require printing services to create advertising materials for their products and services.
The first Crown Point Christmas in Bulldog Park will be held on Sunday, December 7 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $5 and available in advance through the Chamber.
