More than 20 producers from across the country will gather next month in Crown Point for the Sugarbelt Mead Festival.
Presented by Crown Point’s own Manic Meadery, the sixth annual event will welcome meaderies from at least 10 different states, including two from as far away as San Diego and Anaheim, California.
Mead is an ancient alcoholic drink also known as honey wine, which can include spices, fruit, hops, and grains. The drink’s main characteristic is that its fermented sugar comes from honey, and despite sounding sweet, it can also be produced in semi-sweet and dry styles.
The evening festival will feature mead tastings, live music, and food available from restaurant vendors. Tickets can be purchased for $75 or $95 for those who choose a VIP ticket to gain early access to the event, one hour prior to general admission. A special designated driver ticket can be purchased for $25.
Tickets will include a gift bag including a commemorative glass and other items. Companies that sponsor events such as this often include Promotional Products as giveaways in swag Bags.
The Sugarbelt Mead Festival will take place, rain or shine, on Friday, May 15 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Bulldog Park in Crown Point. The event is only open to those aged 21 and over. Further information is available online. Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Bags
