The Crown Point Vintage Tractor and Farm Festival will offer a glimpse into the region’s agricultural heritage.
Harvesting the Past, Planting the Future will be presented for the 41st year by the South Lake Agricultural Historical Society. The society was created following the town’s 150th anniversary when an exhibit of past agricultural tools and machinery inspired residents to create an ongoing group to preserve local agricultural history.
The family festival will feature demonstrations and displays, a swap meet, a flea market and live music.
The three-day celebration will also include evening corn hole competitions and tractor pulls. Historic farm operations such as a working sawmill, steam engines, wheat threshing and corn shredding will allow visitors the opportunity to see how farm work was accomplished in the past.
The festival auto show will highlight antique trucks, semi- trucks and tractors as well as classic and vintage cars. Children can enjoy pony rides, bounce houses, a large model railroad display and a kiddie tractor pull.
Food and beverage vendors will be set up to provide refreshments during the outdoor events. Entrepreneurs who participate in special events such as this often use brochure printing to advertise their products and prices.
The Vintage Tractor and Farm Festival will be held July 11 to 13, 2025 at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point. It will be open 9 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday and 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
