Business owners and entrepreneurs will gather in Crown Point next month for a holiday mixer and charity event.
Presented by Wallace Consulting LLC, it is at this type of event that business operators often distribute Business Cards to promote their products and services. The casual evening offers the chance for attendees to enjoy some holiday cheer, mingle with peers, and make new connections.
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided and there will be a cash bar. Organizers also have a number of prizes available to be won in raffle draws.
In giving back to the community, they have chosen to bring holiday joy to St. Jude House and Carmelite for Boys and Girls. Contributions of toys and donations will be collected for both of these organizations.
St. Jude House serves over 650 clients a year who are affected by domestic violence. The prevention center has been providing services and support in Crown Point since 1995. Assistance may include accommodation and food, counseling, legal advocacy, and education.
St. Joseph’s Carmelite home is run by a non-profit organization that provides temporary and long-term housing for children in need. Accommodation, emotional and medical support, and guidance is also made available to teen moms and expectant mothers.
The Merry Mixer will be held Tuesday, December 10 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at Culinary Misfits, 208 South Main Street in Crown Point.
