‘Lady: a Woman's Expo’ is taking place this May in Tinley Park, from which a portion of all proceeds raised will go to help support the Crisis Center for South Suburbia.
The first 2,000 people through the doors will receive a goody bag filled with sample products and printed material from the vendors and local community organizations. There will be plenty of shopping opportunities for women; vendors already confirmed include boutiques, health providers, jewelry makers, financial companies, and such familiar names as Avon and Mary Kay.
A blood drive, free health screenings, and cooking demonstrations will cover for the wellbeing side of the event. A caricature artist will also be on hand and there will be lots of free samples of food and wine. Men have not been overlooked, and organizers promise there will be a ‘Man Cave’ set up to cater to their interests.
Those attending are asked to bring health and personal care items to donate to the Crisis Center; such goods as cough drops, nail clippers, thermometers, and teething gel are gratefully accepted.
Organizers of the event had Bags printed with the logo and name for the goodie Bags. These types of items are often supplied by printing companies in Tinley Park and nearby Orland Park.
The expo is taking place at the Tinley Park Convention Center on May 10 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Admission is free. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.Get a Free Quote for Bags
