Orland Park shop to offer multiday class

A local Orland Park business will be offering an experience allowing them to create a unique piece. This will take place over two days in mid-to-late March.

The Ocean Pour Serving Board class will show students how to use various woodworking tools, as well as a substance known as tabletop epoxy. The first day will allow for a test piece to give everyone a chance to get used to working with the epoxy material, as well as learning to create the wave effect. A majority of the work on the actual serving board will also be done during part one of the class. Two groups will be available for the lesson. Advertising featuring the company Logo Design is often used to promote activities like this.

If guests are interested in continuing the craft, the location also sells materials and tools needed. Rockler Woodworking and Hardware offers many other lessons, should people want to try something else as well. Some classes are open to those younger than 18, but most are for adults only.

Masks are required at this time, and gloves will be available if one of the tools needs to be shared. Tickets cost $125.

The first group will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on March 12, and then begin at 12:00 pm on March 20. The second will go from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on March 12, and will start off at 2:00 pm on March 20.
