Orland Park shop to host couples woodworking

A store in Orland Park will be hosting a class to teach couples about an art form known as woodworking in mid February.

The Valentine Couples Class is an event that is hosted by Rockler Woodworking and Hardware. The lesson will see instructors teach one half of a couple to make a wine stopper using a tool called the lathe, while the other half will learn to use multiple tools to craft a charcuterie board. At the end of the event, each pair will have one of each product to take home with them. Flyers with the company Logo Design are often made when promoting classes like this.

The class is only open to those who are aged 18 or older. If someone is looking for a lesson open to minors, they can contact their location of Rockler for details on what is available.

Safety is very important to the staff of Rockler. They are sanitizing all their surfaces, providing glasses/goggles, having face masks available when required or requested, and having gloves to give out if a tool needs to be shared between participants in a class.

Attendees are asked not to wear loose clothes or open toed shoes. They should also tie back long hair and roll up sleeves.

Tickets cost $130, but these cover both people in the pairs, as well as the making of both products. If a cancellation needs to be made at least seven days prior to the date of the class in order to receive a refund.

The class will take place from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on February 12th.
