The Holiday Festival is being held this November, presented by Orland Park Recreation.
The highlight of the event will be the tree lighting by Mayor Daniel J. McLaughlin, who will arrive accompanied by Santa Claus. In addition to this, there will be musical performances from acts like the Encore Concert Band and the Carl Sandburg Chamber Singers.
In terms of children's activities, youthful guests will have the chance to make their own crafts and take them home, as well as have their faces painted. They can also pay a visit to Santa Claus and have their picture taken with the jolly soul himself.
Other entertainment taking place during the afternoon will include Special Rec Hip Hop, the Orland Park Junior and Senior Dance Company and Ken Schultz's Holly Folly Show. Also, there will be free sleigh rides for everyone. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
