Orland Park event to help with future holiday preparations

Orland Park residents can get some early shopping done with an event in late February.

The Easter Artisan Market has a goal of showing off the work of local shops and individual crafters. The spring and Easter themes are also important to the market. Shoppers can prepare their Easter baskets from the selection of items sold. Food will be available for purchase from several vendors, making it easy to get a meal during the event. The products are often made either by individual people or a small business, adding a more personal touch.

Those with an interest in selling their products at the market can register via the web page for The Red Bird Market. When paying the fee for a spot, businesses are agreeing to the terms listed on the page, including posting about the event no fewer than three times on all accounts in the weeks prior. A regular booth is $125, while one with access to power is $150.

Tickets for those looking to attend as a shopper are $3, and are also available on the same page as the vendor registration. The Orland Park Civic Center is providing its space for the market.
