A Orland Park location of a company will be holding a class with a different element to ring in the holiday season next month.

Gift Making: Kids Craft Wooden Cookie Ornament is a lesson offered by Rockler Woodworking and Hardware. Unlike most of the other lessons offered, this particular one is open to, and geared towards children. Participants will take a snowman shape formed from a few circular wood slices and add their unique fingerprints in paint. This will create a memory for the parents and kids, as well as a gift for grandparents, someone else special, or for the attendees to keep. An adult is required to be present during the class period.

Rockler is also a storefront in addition to their workshop and lessons. Some of the materials they sell include wood, veneers, epoxy, lathes, sanders, saws, clamps, drills, paint, stains, safety equipment, and hardware. Purchases can be made both online at their website, and in the store.

Space is limited to give guests enough space to feel comfortable. Everything is sanitized between the different lessons as well. Ticket prices cover the cost of instruction and materials needed. The cost in this case is $10. Tickets are available on EventBrite. Flyer printing is often used to promote experiences like this one. The class will run from 10:00am to 10:30am on December 9th.
