Orland Park residents who are looking for a way to give back to their community will soon have a tasty way to do just that when the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast Plus sets up shop in the American Legion in La Grange.
The fundraiser, which will be back for its 68th year, will offer a full menu of popular breakfast items. Those who come out can also make a donation so that someone in need will also be able to enjoy a hot meal.
The doors will open at 8:00 am, and guests will be able to dine on freshly prepared egg strata along with sausage, pancakes, bagels and their choice of coffee, juice and milk. Tickets can be purchased both ahead of time and at the door, and the group has made an assortment of sponsorship opportunities available for any businesses in the area that would like to have their name and brand seen as they play their part in supporting the local community.
Along with the food there will be a plant sale included on the agenda. Flowers and plants will be on offer, and attendees can buy for themselves or pick up an early gift for mom. Graphic design can be used by a printer to craft signage and other items for this type of function.
