Two bands with long-lasting careers will be joining forces for a set of new shows. One concert set for late August is sure to entertain Orland Park residents.
Evanescence is a group fronted by singer Amy Lee, with Will Hunt, Jen Majura, Tim McCord, and Troy McLawhorn completing the current line-up. Beginning in the mid-1990s, the band has gone on to cement its place in the “metal-goth” genre and the wider music industry. A few of the songs in their catalog are “Bring Me To Life,” “Never Go Back,” “Better Without You,” and “Sweet Sacrifice”.
Also on the billing is Korn, consisting of Brian “Head” Welch, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, David Silveria, Jonathan Davis, and James “Munky” Shaffer. A pioneer of the unique genre known as “coldwave”, Korn best-known songs include “Freak on a Leash,” “A.D.I.D.A.S.,” “Falling Away From Me,” “Twisted Transistor,” and “Divine.”
The tour will be making a stop in the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, which is located in the nearby city of Tinley Park. Tickets range in price from $30 to $1,111. Some of the prices include multiple tickets or other special perks, which are explained through the Ticket Squeeze website. Merchandise featuring the Logo Design of the acts performing is often for sale at events like this one.
The doors for the concert will open at 5:30 pm on Saturday, August 20.
