Track hosts BMX league for kids

The Waukegan BMX League is a free event for kids who are just starting to enjoy the cycling experience, and gets underway next month.

This event gives kids the perfect opportunity to start taking cycling seriously. It is designed for beginners who are just starting to learn about this exciting sport and have yet to race a BMX. Parents who wish to sign up their kids for the event can do so on the website, where they will also see the organizing company’s Logo Design.

Kids will get to ride laps around the course while being supervised by a league coach. Parents will be able to watch and cheer their kids on from the stands. After being given a tour of the facility, parents will get more information about how the league operates. Registration for kids is free although parents can pay $50 to try out the track.

Riders are advised to wear long sleeves and gymshoes, and to bring their own helmets.

Registration is open to boys and girls aged from 4 to 15 years old. Parents, grandparents, and guardians of the kids are also invited to join in. The organizers have put together an event schedule for both riders and parents.

The event will be held on five Sundays from July 17 to August 14 at the Waukegan BMX Track, just a few miles from Libertyville. The sessions will run from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
