MainStreet Libertyville will host Car Fun on 21 in August, inviting the community to enjoy one of the area’s most popular summer traditions.
The event is designed to bring residents and visitors together for an evening of classic vehicles, live entertainment, and local dining while supporting the town's vibrant downtown district.
The event will showcase classic automobiles and pickup trucks that are over two decades old along the streets surrounding Cook Park. Visitors will have the opportunity to browse an extensive display of restored and vintage cars, listen to performances by local musicians, and explore eateries and retail businesses throughout the evening. Vehicle owners are also invited to display their cars without prior registration.
MainStreet Libertyville hosts more than 50 days of community events each year with the support of local volunteers. Car Fun on 21 is one of the organization's signature seasonal events, helping attract visitors to downtown businesses while celebrating the community's automotive heritage.

Car Fun on 21 is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:00 pm in downtown Libertyville around Cook Park. Free parking will be available in the free multilevel parking garages near the park, and visitors can also reach the event by Metra.
