Fundraising run to return to Libertyville

The 14th Annual EmpowerRun/Walk 5K will return to Libertyville this May.

The fundraising event is expected to bring together more than 400 walkers, runners, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.

Participants can choose to run or walk the chip-timed 5K course, which is certified by the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA). The event is open to both individuals and families, with options to participate solo or as part of a group such as a fundraising team. Proceeds from the event will support a diverse range of programs that assist families in need.

For events like these, organizers often work with Print shops for Logo Design services and materials such as Banners, Posters, and branded items. These materials help support event promotion and increase visibility for the organization’s brand and initiatives.

On event day, an opening ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 am, followed by the race itself. A closing ceremony will take place at approximately 10:15 am, along with awards for top finishers.

The cost to participate in the event is $38.99. Registration for the fundraising event will remain open until race day, although participants who register early will receive swag Bags and limited-edition T-Shirts.

The event is set for Saturday, May 2 at Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville, Illinois. Further info is available on the RunSignUp listing.
