Libertyville Jeep owners plan run for veterans

Libertyville Jeep owners will want to make a note in their Journals for next month, as a day of driving and fun in support of veterans is getting ready to embark.

The Veterans Support Jeep Run, which is a local part of the nationwide Honor Our Veterans Jeep Run, is getting closer to embarking on an adventure, giving area Jeep owners the chance to make new friends and enjoy the outdoors while supporting the nation’s veterans.

The annual event has become a tradition that brings the community together and raises funds to help veterans who are facing financial and medical hardships. All of the event’s proceeds and any donations will go to Veterans Path to Hope, a non-profit organization that focuses on pooling resources together to support veterans nationwide. Printing services can help promote such events while also providing detailed directions to participants on where to go during the run.

The run will feature multiple stops, taking Jeep owners to the VFW post in Lake Villa before ending up at Captain’s Quarters for an afterparty in Antioch, Illinois, for snacks and drink specials. All participants are asked to drink responsibly and use a designated driver.

The run will start at Liberty Jeep in Libertyville, with registration beginning at 10:00 AM, on Sunday, November 9th. Interested parties can lodge their interest in participating online.
