A children’s creative workshop is being planned near Libertyville for next month, providing fun and memorable learning experiences for area youth during their summer vacations.
The Creative Kids Workshop: Birdhouses workshop has an official date in the calendar, and area parents looking for a fun way to spur creativity while bonding with their children are welcome to attend. The event is open to children 13 and under, and all participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The session will be a hands-on crafting experience where students will build and decorate wooden birdhouses to take home or give as gifts to friends and family. The ArtCraft Nook is planning the summer session with the hope of helping local children find a new interest or passion. Brochure printing is an effective way to share more information and instructions to attendees and participants at such crafting events.
Participants will use a hammer and nails to assemble their birdhouse before adding the finishing touches with several material options, including 3D additions and acrylic paint. All supplies will be provided at no additional cost with the registration fee. Parents or guardians will gain admittance included in the price of their child’s ticket.
The Hawthorn Mall in neighboring Vernon Hills will host the crafting workshop, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 12th, at 3:00 PM. Registration is open online for $35 per participant.
