Green Living Fair returns after hiatus

The Green Living Fair is making a return to Lake County in April.

The fair will kick off a number of activities scheduled for Earth Week. Its return is thanks to help from the community, and in particular, Paula Lubenow, who serves on the board of the Town & Country Garden Club of Libertyville. The Daily Herald reports that she wanted to do more with her environmental conservation efforts and decided to find out if it would be possible to make the Green Living Fair happen again. After making a few calls, she was put in contact with the people who used to organize the fair, and she then put together a team to bring it back.

Cathy O’Brien, who organized the event for nine years, stated that:

“We’re bringing this popular event back and connecting with more people across Lake County.”

The fair was formerly held in Libertyville; however, this year’s edition will be at the University Center of Lake County, which is a few miles north at the College of Lake County’s Grayslake campus. The move is so that more people can be accommodated. Flyer printing could be used to promote an event like this.

The Green Living Fair is presented as a great opportunity for people in the community to come together and educate themselves about how they can live greener lives. The fair will run from 10 am to 2 pm on April 15th. Admission is free.
