The Libertyville Days festival is set to return to the city of Libertyville this summer.
The festival has been going on for as long as people in the area can remember, with some records suggesting that these traditions have been ongoing for over 100 years. The helps to raise money for the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation’s upkeep and vital Senior Center programming, as well as being open for other special events.
City organizers are promising all who attend the festival four days of food, drinks, and entertainment. The carnival provides entertainment for the community and nearby families. Church Street Eats vendors will offer a diverse selection of food and drinks for the kids and adults on West Church Street, starting at Brainerd Avenue. The Arts and Crafts fair will take place at Cook Park and will showcase local artists and crafters.
At 10:00 am, the parade will start at the Metro Train station, south on Milwaukee to Rockland Road. This will include bands from local schools and community groups. Such unique and special seasonal events can be promoted throughout the community with poster printing.
The activities will take place throughout the Downtown area of Liberty. The Center is location is located in downtown Libertyville. The Libertyville Days festival will begin on Thursday, June 14th and will continue through Sunday, June 17th.
