An Evanston initiative that turns trash into treasure has a Halloween activity in the works for the community, and each ticket admits up to five members of the family.
The activity, which is a project of Rebuilding Exchange Evanston, will be filled with sustainable spookiness. It will be a drop-in occasion, and it will offer the attendees a chance to repurpose reclaimed materials to prepare fun décor for the Halloween season.
The participants will be offered a variety of reclaimed materials to work with to prepare their pieces, and there will also be a Halloween scavenger hunt in the warehouse. As the function will take place in a working facility, closed-toed shoes are required to enter. Each family will be able to take their completed items home with them to use in their own display, and tickets for the occasion are available for reservation now.
When inviting members of the public into a warehouse or other working venue, it may be a good idea to ensure there is adequate signage in use to keep everyone safe. This can be prepared by local Print shops using wide format Print technology.
Rebuilding Exchange Evanston will be helping to make the Halloween season a bit more sustainable on Saturday, October 29. It will be held in the Evanston ReBuilding Warehouse at 1245 Hartrey Avenue.
