Art fans from Evanston as well as those from further afield will be able to browse to their heart's content when they drop by a local festival planned for late August.
The annual Evanston Art and Big Fork Festival will be taking over the community's downtown area for two days, and much of the fun will be centered around 800 Chicago Street. There will be plenty to see and do, and it will show some love to local artists, artisans and crafters alike.
The event will include works created by a juried list of 150 participants, and paintings, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, photographs and more will all be on offer. A food service area will be set in The Big Fork section of the activity, which will also have adult beverages available. Painting classes and a Kids Art Zone are on the agenda for both days as well, and a henna and face painting tent have been planned.
Festivals bring people together to have fun and enjoy one another’s company, helping to build strong and connected communities. Reusable decor can be a budget friendly option for decor, and a banner printing company will have many choices on offer.
