An Evanston event will soon see the businesses in its Downtown district show some love to their patrons old and new.
Merchants who have signed up for the Love Local Chocolate Crawl will be showing their community spirit and hoping to expand their customer base. There are 18 venues confirmed on the lineup. It will begin in the late afternoon, and the agenda runs for three hours.
Participating establishments will be welcoming the public with an assortment of sweet treats and will be offering shopping specials. Everyone is encouraged to bundle up and walk from stop to stop, perhaps finding a special Valentine’s Day gift for their sweetheart or a treat for themselves.
To aid the organizers, those interested are asked to register ahead of time, and they are encouraged to stop at any of downtown eateries for their supper.
