Edwardsville to receive five-story structure
A new building is going up in downtown Edwardsville, and promises to stand out from other structures in the area, according to an article in RiverBender.com.
The building will be five stories tall, and is expected to be completed in January, 2017, according to Walt Williams, the economic director of Edwardsville. The building will house the corporate offices of Madison Mutual Insurance, which also has the right to name the new structure. The construction is on Park Street. A spokesperson for Madison said employees are excited about the building and are eager to make the change.
Madison Mutual will be the building's anchor tenant, and will take over both the second and third floor. Madison Mutual will then demolish its current home in Edwardsville, at 1 Mutual Court. That site will be redeveloped to make way for a new shopping project, the Town Center, that is being built there.
A second anchor tenant in the new building is the Flint Law Firm, which now has offices in Glen Carbon. The legal firm is a nationwide enterprise specializing in mesothelioma and asbestos cases.
Williams is as excited about the new building as either of the tenants, saying the project “should be amazing.”
Companies like these can benefit by working with brochure printing companies, which can create booklets describing the amenities of new construction projects.
