An elite beach volleyball tournament has cemented its plans to host a two-day competition in Edwardsville next month, pitting the best doubles teams against each other for the prize.
The Midwest Open, a top-notch two-day tournament featuring the best professional men’s and women’s doubles teams, is set to converge on Edwardsville, with the winning teams leaving with substantial prize money for their efforts. The cash purse for this competition is a guaranteed $20,000.
The tournament is being organized by Vollis, a Tennessee-based volleyball organization, as part of the AVP Next series of tournaments and events. Vollis is working with the City of Edwardsville to provide the best playing and viewing experience possible. The tournament will feature a men’s and women’s division. Banner printing is a colorful and memorable way to welcome the teams to the tournament venue and award the winners with their prizes.
The first-place team will receive $5,000, with second-place teams earning $3,000 and the third-place finishers earning $2,000. The tournament will be held as an all-day event, and interested parties and youth players are encouraged to come out and watch the matches.
