Edwardsville residents who want to hone a skill ahead of the holidays can look forward to a cookie decorating workshop scheduled in town in the run-up to Christmas.
The Christmas Cookie Decorating Class is coming to town next month, giving area residents who want to upgrade their cookie designs a warm and welcoming setting to learn from the best. The event will use hands-on learning methods to show enrolled guests the most effective tips and tricks to turn cookies into munchy masterpieces.
The class will be led by Robin McCarty of Little Cookie Shoppe, and attendees are welcome to sip, socialize, and snack throughout the learning session. All supplies and ingredients are included in the registration price. Printing services are one of the best resources when planning cooking and baking workshops such as this one, helping to make sharing recipes more efficient.
In addition to McCarty’s personal recipes, guests will also learn her recommended tips and techniques for the best designs. The class is geared toward beginners and intermediate bakers, and each student will get to take six decorated cookies home to share with friends and family.
The class will be held at EXO Nail Bar, Med Spa, and Lounge in Edwardsville. It is scheduled for Sunday, December 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Registration is $50 online.
