Casey Donahew is a native of Burleson, Texas, who is making a name for himself singing Texas country music. From 2006 through 2017, Donahew released seven albums, five of which charted. “All Night Party,” which he released in 2016, went to No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Country Chart.
Donahew began writing songs when he was still in school, and then became involved in Texas country music, which was becoming popular thanks to artists like Randy Rogers, Robert Earl Keen, and Pat Green. He started his professional career in 2002, playing mostly in bars, and building a loyal base of younger fans.
The Casey Donahew Band released “Double-Wide Dream,” their fourth album, on iTunes exclusively for 24 hours, then dropped the CD the next day. Retailers like Walmart and Best Buy carried it, and the single “One Star Flag” went to the top spot on the Texas Music Chart. In 2019, they released “One Light Town,” which debuted on the Billboard Country Album Sales Chart at No. 2.
A review of a Donahew concert says:
“Great show . . . Casey never fails to give an outstanding performance. I've seen him three times now, and plan on seeing him again.”
Donahew will be at The City Center in Champaign on September 11 at 8.00 pm; doors open at 7.00 pm. Flyer printing can provide handouts to advertise events like this.
