Champaign’s bookworms may want to take advantage of an opportunity to stock up on reading materials while showing some love to their local library.
The venue has scheduled its March Tag Bag Sale, and it will be on offer in Champaign Libraries FriendShop bookstore on its lower level. Likely to be especially attractive to the thrifty set, everyone is reminded to bring along a library tote or a paper grocery bag to fill with new reading material.
Bibliophiles can fill their Bags with as many Books as they can, and they will be asked to pay just $1 for their load. CDs and movies will also be in the mix, and there will be volunteers on site to lend a hand. Monies raised will be used to help purchase new materials, and there will be at least 20,000 items to browse through. The shoppers can drop by any time during its three-hour window.
When marketing a fundraiser, organizers usually want to keep within – or even under – their budget. A poster printing company can help by preparing a wide selection of promotional materials to help build public anticipation for an event.
The March Tag Bag sale will be on offer on Saturday, March 28. It will run from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the library, which is at 200 West Green Street.
