Champaign families of kids with disabilities will be able to join in the magic of the holiday season when they attend a party being thrown in their honor.
Delta Sigma Omicron will be throwing a kids’ holiday party, and the whole family is welcome. It will be held in the afternoon of its scheduled date, and it will run for one and a half hours.
The agenda for the occasion is filled with fun, and there will be crafting stations and games to play, as well as an assortment of other suitable activities. Santa will be stopping by to visit with the guests, and he will be presenting each child with a gift. This is being sponsored by Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation, and parents have been asked to register their child ahead of time so they can receive a present from the big guy in red. The organizers can be reached at 217-333-4607.
Print shops will be able to help take care of providing customized decor for a special celebration like a seasonal party. They can craft both reusable and single-use styles, and most budget levels can be accommodated.
Families that would like to be on the guestlist for this holiday party are encouraged to register now. It will open its doors at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 9 at the Leonhard Recreation Center.
